Apostolic Administrator László Bánáss, later Bishop of Veszprém, resumed Magdi’s cause, agreeing with his predecessor. In accordance with ecclesiastical regulations, on April 1, 1947, he appointed the diocesan tribunal, which heard 23 witnesses.
